Thank you. Thank you for everything. You and your team; Theresa, Bonnie, Marie were with us through the hardest days. The kind, thoughtful, experienced, efficient, and well-informed guidance that you and your staff provided were so helpful.
Silva and staff, I don't have the words to adequately express the appreciation we have for all of you. Thanks to the professional, compassionate caring of everyone in your organization. My father was able to transition from this world to the next just the way he wanted to be: In his home for as long as possible and with his family. Do not for a minute diminish the role you all play in the people' lives that you support. You are all a blessing. The L. Family's.
We are very thankful for all the help rendered by Senior Quest. We will certainly keep you in mind if ever the occasion arises that we need help of that sort again. Thank you again for your services at a time much needed.
Silva, just a note to thank you for all you have done for my mother. I know that she was a difficult client. We appreciate all your efforts to accommodate her and that of your staff. Sincerely,
Unfortunately, I fainted and broke my pelvis. After Englewood Hospital, I went to a facility for rehabilitation. I knew I would need help in my home. Senior Quest was recommended by the Social Worker. Silva came to my room and explained what her company could do for me. I hired Senior Quest and they were there the day after I arrived home. The Nurse examined me and checked my medications. I worked with one Home Health Aide, Carol, almost exclusively. I was pleased that she was able to give me a shower and dress me. She made sure I did the excercises that the visiting nurses left. Carol also took me for walks using my rollator. I felt very safe as she drove my car with me to Doctor’s appointments, food shopping and other appointments. She often prepared food that I would microwave in the evening.I hope none of my friends should need the type of service you provide. However, if they did I would not hesitate to recommend Senior Quest. Many Thanks for being so nice!
I would like to thank Senior Quest for the help they have provided my mother and family. Although her needs have changed since Senior Quest has started helping with planning they have been very helpful in presenting senior living options. They have been essential in making the plans a reality through independent living, home care, rehabilitation care, and assisted living arrangements. Senior Quest has been terrific in recommending geriatric care medical professionals, safe home contractors, and senior transportation in addition to providing a staff of patient caring aides. Senior Quest's experience working with insurance companies has kept things moving and kept us advised and informed. Marie and Silva-have always been accessible and agreeable even in difficult times. I feel Silva and her staff have placed my mother's safety and well being as priority. They have made a point of keeping my mother and family informed through difficult processes and issues. I feel we have been working as a team.
"In working with Senior Quest I realized that although I thought I knew how to navigate the system I became overwhelmed when my husband was in a subacute rehabilitation facility and ready to come home. At the time I was not ready to manage all his needs and I became overwhelmed. I Contacted Silva Avedis and in working with her closely. Silva was able to help and made me realize that I had alternative options that I was not aware of. She assisted us in making the right decisions and helped navigate the system and ultimately made the transition so much easier and less stressful."
It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation. Being a registered nurse and having been in the health care profession for the last 37 years, I feel it necessary to recognize “Senior Quest” and their staff.Recently my family and I found ourselves in the position of having to find a safe and comfortable place in an assisted living facility for my elderly uncle. He required special care during his transition and that’s where “Senior Quest” came in.I feel the transition from home to the assisted living facility was made a bit easier due to the care Marie and her staff provided. This included several shift changes, during which time they continued to provide exactly what the family needed. More importantly, what my uncle needed. There were no hidden fees, they required no advance notice to the duration of services, lines of communication were open at all times. I highly recommend “Senior Quest” and if ever needed in the future would use their services.
"I would like to say thank you for the kindness you showed my husband. It is times like this that you see how important having a place as well run as SeniorQuest can be. Your staff of aides were so very good. They were considerate of his feelings at a bad time in his life."
"My family began using Senior Quest back in the winter of 2015. With the help of Silva Avedis, Owner and Social Worker, as our advocate we were able to have less anxiety while my dad was in the hospital and rehabilitation facility for many weeks. She stayed in continuous contact and got to know the entire family, keeping us calm when we needed to be, and informed throughout. Unfortunately, after our mother passed away unexpectedly, we needed help with our dad. Marie Schilling, director of home care services, helped us get just the right person to care for our Dad. The entire staff was pleasant, kind and calming throughout the process, and continued to be involved with phone calls and visits during the next eight months. I felt that they had come to really know, admire and respect dad during that time and up to his passing. I highly recommend Senior Quest for anyone’s needs for their elderly loved ones. Their services are top notch and sincere."
"When my family realized our father was no longer able to live safely without assistance, we contacted Senior Quest for guidance. Senior Quest visited us in person, and we were provided with the information we needed to make the best decision for our Dad, who was adamant about staying in his own home. Senior Quest provided him with 24 hour care as well as nursing services, enabling us to honor his wishes. The health care assistants treated my father with respect and kindness, even when he was difficult. Sadly, my father recently passed away. However, with the assistance of Senior Quest, we were able to make my father comfortable in his own home, knowing he was safe and well cared for. I would highly recommend Senior Quest, and thank them for helping us with the daily care of our father over the past few months.”
"I was in need of an agency to help me with the care of my aging father. Dad’s traveling physician, Dr. Isnar, recommended “Senior Quest.” They offered very professional friendly service and attended to all of the needs that we were concerned about. My father needed 24/7 care and my brother left his home and job to come and live with him. Between the two of us we were so overwhelmed that we needed a caring agency to organize a plan of care and help us with the day to day billing, physical therapy, meal planning, companion care, bathing, light housework, etc. They went above and beyond and were always pleasant and attentive and very understanding. They helped us contact the right people and medical equipment businesses to get us what we needed and always with a pleasant, patient, and true interest in my father’s wellbeing. Their aides were prompt, very attentive, delightful, affectionate, and always reliable. A number one – super agency! They really are a fantastic agency – I recommend them highly."
"My family started using Senior Quest almost a year ago. My father and mother live by themselves in an apartment. My father has Alzheimer’s and has very little short term memory, and my mother was the major care taker. Then she fell and we found the fall was a result of pneumonia. She would be in the hospital for a week and then rehab for another 3 weeks. What I did not realize is that while assisted living will help up to a point, for a patient with Alzheimer’s, it is all or nothing. Commit my father to the long term facility and split my parents up or get your own help to stay with him in his room. I needed help fast. I had no one who could stay for 24 hours a day 7 days a week with my father.Thankfully, I was given the number of Senior Quest, and even though this was a weekend, Silva and Marie had people 24 hours a day the next day! It was a life savior. My mother came home in about a month but was still weak and my father still needed help during the days. We have been using Senior Quest to give my father the attention daily, that the shared services of an assisted living facility just will not give him. After the pneumonia, my mother could not do as much with my father, so we still have Senior Quest coming in daily to take extra care of my father, from meals to activities. All the people that have been sent to us have been very professional, as well as treated my parents with grace and compassion. We now have a few people that come consistently daily. The people treat my father like he is part of the family. If there is ever an issue, Marie calls me and she fixes the issue, even if it means she is at the facility herself. While this experience with my parents is not pleasant by any means, the team at Senior Quest has been very helpful and give me peace of mind my parents are in good hands."
"Learning about all our choices allowed us to plan for our Mom’s future and start the Medicaid process. Thank you.”
"Senior Quest helped us in sorting through the maze and locating a facility that best suited our family member."
